if you take time to read the advert it was for sale @ £35,000 and thats because its whole life, its been owned by RSOC members and has 7,459 miles from new on it, and while the guy was on holiday (ps. this was found out today - the guy is currently on holiday as i type this) his pride and joy was stolen, as well as his daily driver - seat leon fr in white and his house was ransacked - he is in his 30s/40s and his 18th birthday present - a gold bracelet, from his parents was stolen!
some fucking evil bastards out there! :(

i know he is ending his holiday early to come home to the mess...his cossie gone, his leon gone, sentimental posessions gone and his house ransacked!
being where he lives and with where he works.....there will be a few head honchos who will get on the ball and no doubt find out asap where its gone to etc!
and lets just say (not if, because they will be found), but WHEN these scumbags are caught, they wont even be able to crawl as most joints of their limbs will get a serious smashing or even shot!
you dont mess with people in the know, especially in the Belfast area - its asking for trouble!

ahh right well the house alarm went off on early hours of monday morning and neighbours thought nothing of it. thats when police think cossie was stole. and maybe the house ransacked. then on the early hours of tuesday the leon was took!
definately people watching his moves, or in the know that he was going on holiday!

the car was alarmed and so was the house. but obviously when the house got broke into, it didnt take rocket science to look for the keys!
the same guy has in the past had an 8,000 miles series one rs turbo escort and before that escort he has had a 24,000 mile spahhire cossie in flint grey.
people who know of him, knows what he has! so if they knew who he was, it wouldnt take long to work out where he is based etc!
not his fault!

if im thinking what your saying then i hope they beat the living crap out of them cos people who steal stuff are just complete losers and need a better job for starters but then saying that they wont need jobs when they get put in a river with concrete shoes and a lead hat or just even 6 ft underground... i dont understand why people dont just do what everyone else does save your money and you can have nice things like that people dont steal it you bunch of low life losers
i hope he gets revenege sooner than later dude keeps us updated on how he gets on

Terrible news.
Seriously though, to the person with the CTR in your avatar, just because you drive one, doesnt mean you have to live up to the stereotype of someone who drives one ...
Have some restraint.

Having lived in Belfast and knowing what it's like, if the culprits are found they'll be put in the freezers.

at least it's easy to spot if it's out and about.
if they try to strip it for parts - again extremely rare and we'll know it's his.

You would not do an insurance job on that.... what a souless heartless person you must be.
Also if you knew anything about cars you would understand that Escort Cosworth in time would comfortably sell at that price.

Gutted man, was reading his advert yesterday, Lovely car, on origional tyres and everything. Now some little scrote is probably ragging the ass out of it, unless it has been stripped. sad sad news.

It's obviously been stolen to order. Chances are it'll be out of the country in a week if it doesn't get recovered soon to add to some Arab's collection

Insulting his car is a bit geeky like.. people like you make me laugh. Are you taking the piss out of his car cos he doesn't have a nice expensive CTR like you? Sure someone told you not to be a stereotypical CTR owner earlier... looks like you tripped a little mate.

I think what i was suggesting is proven by the following tirade of stereotypically chavvy, unintelligent swearing. So yes, it would appear that on the internet at least, you personify the typical CTR driver :y:

In certain circumstances, saying what you actually think is less important than offering either condolense or helpful advice to someone in need.
Or maybe im just a Golf Gti driver looking down my own stereotypical nose at you ;)

You dont bring anything usefull to this forum.
Nearly every post I read you slate other cars like your civic is the be all and end all.
Miby your the sort of person that would pull an insurance job but Im sure most car lovers wouldnt. If your willing to pay and keep a car as an ornamant the last thing youd think about is having it stolen.
Fact !
Ps its sad to here about the theft. Hope it turns up safe

that car is the same age as me and i bet i have walked further than that car has driven.
a huge shame and i really feel for the guy. i hope it turns up in the same condition it was taken in.
some people seriously need to grow up in this thread, this is a forum of car lovers, lets keep it that way and stop having silly arguements.
