hi, just bought a saxo vtr mk2 as a non runner and im picking it up on monday, i dont know much about saxo's but im sure i will get it fixed soon.

heres a couple of pics, i bought some alloys the other day (need painting black) for it cause when i bought it, it had steelies on. i picked up the new engine today, going to give it a good clean and hopefully fit it this weekend. anyone know if there easy to fit? im used to working on vauxhalls

im trying to sell my astra and i will keep hold of the saxo for a bit, it only cost me about £350 for car + new engine lol.

there easy to fit mate. I Changed my engine in 3 hours. There is plenty of room unoike some other cars ive changed engines on.

engine fitted and running, im going buying a new front pipe and cat later because the old one are rotted. then test drive.

the cars more or less sorted now, just waiting for my window tint and b post vinyl and rim tape to come and ive got a bit of tidying up to do to the body work.

it needed a new engine when i bought it so i fitted it, had to get the ecu recoded. then fitted new brake pads. the bleed nipple snapped on both back calipers so another trip to the scrap yard for new calipers, managed to fit them. painted the wheels satin black and now the heaters have stopped working. its 1 thing after another lol
