What is this?

The rocker cover breather pipe has a T piece on it. the right side is fed back into the air intake to be reburnt and there is a another piping to the left which also goes towards the air intake. Why is this? does it need both pipes for the car to run?

doesnt need any 2 run, you could block them all off if you wanted.
its there to keep same pressures in manifold.

Thats good to hear, when i first bought my car it didnt have any of those pipings from the T piece.
