I havent really seen many/nothing relating to these cars whether its on the road or in a thread untill i saw the blackest guy ever driving one on the M4 whilst driving back from Wales this eve. Was readin a review and aprently they are meant to be shit hot, but having heard nothing really about them what are peoples opinions of them, why so elusive. Whats the deal?.

the one i saw was a plain red one, looked mint. 2.0 16v! for a hothatch made back in the great Noughties lol gotta be i recon and then the whole rallye version !! crazy.

you will pay more for a rallye as they are more rare. Think they are lighter but Im not sure. some people on saxp drive gti6's so will obviously be able to tell you more

i have a 306 Xsi one down from the GTI-6 and with proxes and lowered the handling is actually unreal.

i was going to get one but chriss knott wont insure me till im 25 think it has something to do with the 168bhp as standard :y:

I like the wheels, and the mirrors suit the rest of the car imo. Don't like the sunstrip or the gold bits on the wipers, but it fits in with the theme you're going for.

I like it Mik, and it's clean/shiny as fuck.

Better ride more comfort more space more power more torque more gears.

I've never been in a gti6 but I don't imagine there would be any noticeable difference. From having the Rallye though I can tell you they are awesome cars, I used to really like the VTS but this is truely something else IMO!

It's more of a personal thing whether you want a gti6 or a Rallye but I was a bit of a sucker for the exclusivity, although saying that the gti6's aren't exactly common. If you want all the comforts of leather seats, air con and electric windows then you'd be best off with the gti6 :y:

Also the standard induction noise on these is awesome, if you heard it you would want it!

Mine has a K&N filter from the previous owner and the induction noise is similar to my old throttle bodied VTS. Just not as loud.

Handling wise its ok, not as good as my saxo was but that was on GRP N billies etc so i shouldnt really compare.
