How much do you love your Saxo?

Serious question but really how much do you love her?, just asking this because i have days where i think f**k sake why am i driving this crap but there is always something in the back of my head what tells me nahhhh i cant get rid of her, to say they are a piece of french s***e they can be modified to look immaculate, not the best use of grammar but am sure you get the picture what am trying to get to lol..

I've had days where ive thought 'my last 2 cars were alot better to drive then this french piece of shit' and ive gone and put her on pistonheads ..
But then when ive cleaned it and gone out to get in my car ive thought 'I love this car' and when i put my foot down i always think nahh i can't get rid !!

Your right they can be modified to look nice in soo many different ways :)
Im gonna keep mine for a bit longer even though the cambelt has just snapped .. Ive thought do i spend money and fix it or sell as spares and repairs ..

But im gonna have it fixed :) and keep it bit longer

My second VTR (Current) I bought it I think it was a rebound car to my old one... Ive had it 4 months now... first day I had it... wasnt happy with it... but ive started to like it now... hope it will turn into love! :P

A love mine when i drive to work at 05:30 in the morning, roads are quiet and you can hear every little sound the Saxo makes, coming to a set of traffic lights and just hearing the back end popping as you drop down gears and hearing it rasp through 2nd to the 3rd, just small think's like this what makes me :D.

Mine has a developed a few problems recently. And I am not over joyed about driving it.

Although when its had a nice wash and is just sitting in my drive, or when its problem free I love it.

Am saving for my next car though :y: But thinking of keeping the sax.

The indicator or something like that was the wrong colour. The back right wheel arch was apparently in a very unsafe condition. (bit of rust that you can see when you open the boot, hardly 'weakens the structure') I can't really remember what else. Will need to have a look at the receipt.

If i had the money to tune a VTS up, White wheels, posi blue - Lowered with the best suspension setup and a good exhaust/manifold etc... Id probably never want to get rid. But nothing takes me away from how much they rattle... You guys probly live in nicer areas than me, with flatter roads. Where im from, Driving a saxo down the road is like being on rumble strips.. literally. It hurts me to actually do that to the poor thing lol and just as i think... i have to get rid, I hit a smooth bit of road and all is well again haha !

Yeah but would you really want to put all your cash into a 1.1 mate ? I have a VTR and i still would cringe at spending too much, Based on thefact that you see better gains on the VTS. Its just insurance aswell isnt it, Its a joke these days !
