My Battery

Right,
The story goes that the battery was fine but my VTR has been stood around not really getting touched a whole lot as im still banned from driving for a week. but about 3 weeks ago my Dad went to start her up to take for a spin and she wouldnt start. Battery had died, So i took it out and charged it for a day and a half, put it back in started first time, Brilliant :) She was driven then for a week by my dad.
Then she was stood from sunday to friday (Last week). Went to fire her up and boom, battery was dead again, but because i couldnt get my hands on the battery charger again my brother jump started her on saturday. Took her for a spin yesterday and she started up first time. My dad went to take me to work in her this morning and she wouldnt start up again.
My dad thinks i should get a new battery but i think its just a case of charging the old one up and once shes being driven daily (As of next week) it will be fine. What do you guys think is best? Because the last thing i want to happen is i go to start her up next week when my ban is up and shes dead.

i would get a new battery shouldnt think there too expensive mate

Battery not holding charge, you might get away with it for 3-6 months like this during the warm weather with daily use but get another battery when you can mate.

if a battery is flat for a while (can be as little as two weeks) it can lose its ability to hold charge. Only option is to get a new one, a basic one shouldnt be much more than 30 quid
