i didnt send a item signed for.. as i was saving the buyer some postage money.. now he saying he hasnt recived my item..

i have proof off postage.. but the 1 thing i want comes up on ebay and my account has been Frozen! and it ends tonite!

ive put everything i have on the receit into paypal.. and have a photo off the receit as i dont have a scanner but my camera isnt brillant so dont no if you will be able to fully read it! what can i do?

i sold a strut brace on 22nd or somthing last month! and he saying he hasnt recived it.. and has opened a deput on paypal.. ARGGG TW*T.

Seriously dont bother trying to save people money....always send them recorded or atleast so they have to be signed for so that you dont end up in this situation.

As said, I NEVER send standard parcels anymore.

Its usually only a couple of quid extra for items. So its not worth the risk.

If your paypal account has been frozen you can still win the item and pay through other methods.

My mum works at the post office and said it left the depo thats all she really knows.. im trying to upload a photo off the receit but i cant get it so the post code is clear..

I had a similar case with gooch. Sent him smoked rears, heavily packaged, trusted courier etc, all of a sudden, he signs for them as recieved and package intact, i get a PM 2 days later telling me that the lens had smashed... I think he's at it really.

have had things happen like this before mate, theirs not alot the sax-p can actually do. as a site they did'nt tell you to sell it and reccomend doing it collection based. It is a shame however there are wankers out there purposely scamming... if he isn't far pay him a visit ;) also if they ban him he will get away scott free and create a new account and go again... shit happens we can only learn from our mistakes. To be fair, he has got a decent Itrader with more expensive items that have been bought in the past.

Dont think its fair to be calling him a liar really. We all know that things go missing in the post quite often. Maybe if he had have done the same to P90PTS then it might have been a bit of a co-incedence. But if pictures were sent of the item broken then as he said, why would he buy the item then break it? Most couriers also dont give the option to sign it as "damaged" anymore anyway - I work in a warehouse dealing with Interlink, UPS, DHL, Royal Mail, Tuffnels etc....

Just looking at it from a Neutral prespective. I know how frustrating it is to post something and have a seller claim they never recieved it. The bad thing being you never actually know if they have or not.

Moral of the story, Always send recorded and well packaged.

To be honest, If you send something 'unsigned for' then you are putting all your trust into the royal mail, and the reciever. You should always have things signed for, its much safer and stops arguments like these. Personally, from past experience and after reading both of your arguments, if Vtrlogan posted a picture of his proof, then i'd say it could well be the delivery driver... I dont trust them at all.

Proof of postage means nothing and will not help this situation. Proof of receipt is what is required.

Not only buyers need to protect themselves, sellers do too. Sending an item recorded shouldn't cost the seller, you should negotiate postage before completing the deal.

We can't ban someone because someone says so, we need proof.

P90s lights. Its v unlikely that the guy smashed the lights himself wouldn't make sense as he provided pics of the lights and would be a waste of his time to buy something, smash it, then have the hassle of getting his cash back?

The ops problem is with royal mail, if his mum works there, surely she will know or will know someone who can advise the op what to do.

We send all royal mail post recorded delivery so we have a record of delivery. Proof of postage is all but useless to everyone involved.
You need a lot to make paypal believe the seller as the buyer holds all the cards. Even then you are unlikely to win.

That way it proves that you did send the item and it's been lost in the post. Therefore it's not your fault or gooch's.

The only reason we're having difficulty believing this as a forum is because we've not seen any proof of sending other than a blurry pic of a royal mail reciept.

If it turns out that this gooch lad has had the brace off you and is claiming that he didnt recieve it then more fool him and he deserves what's coming to him. But once again there's never going to be any proof that he recieved it.

Dave - Dont think there's any need to get personal and call the lad a chav, he's clearly annoyed and will naturally be hot headed.

Dead right mate! After reading the whole thread i don't think its anybody's fault other than the 'royal mail's'. Logan, i can see why your annoyed and tbh, i'm a hot headed person and i would probley react the same way as you have! BUT you have to step back and try to look at the situation as a neutral (as hard as that is) and you should see it from the other neutral sax-p members point of view. After you were very rude, arrogant and basically a complete c*nt to me - thats when i filed the dispute so you cannot say you did not have warning.

I appreciate your angry and i know how it must look if you know you posted it but that is for your end to deal with imo.

Either way i appreciate those who see my side and like me consider it a royal mail cock up but that is for logan to claim not me as he was the one who chose their services.

If i get round to getting a strut brace i will ensure i inform everybody through the use of this thread so if logan ever "pops my bonnet" he will know i have purchased one from elsewhere.

If so contact the Royal Mail and they should have a copy of GoochyBoy's signature for the item in question and can send you the copy if need be....
