Right im think of ideas for my girlfriends bday, i have plenty of time to save and plan.
She loves Jack Will clothes (i think thats it lol).
Basically my idea was to take her to Chester and saying today is on me, go wild. Limit would be about £300.
Plan is to take her to a nice place for dinner and take her out to a retaurant for a meal in the evening aswell. This wouldnt be included in the £300.
BUT my question is:
Would you (a girl) like the idea of your man taking you shopping for clothers or what ever she wants all paid for or would you think that he hasnt thought of anything and this is a last minute idea??
Cheers

You will get annoyed/bored at the sight of your Mrs shopping.. But sounds like a great plan for her :y:

If I were you mate I'd take the focus less of money and move it more to making it a more memorable occasion, something like a cosy weekend away. Depends on your gf though, but I don't think ALL girls just want money chucked at em. I think she'd appreciate something directly from you more than she would if you just gave her £300, might as well just stick £300 in a card, it's not too much different...

How long you been going with her ? She might be looking for some sparkle.
Did this on the day before I got married gave her 200 notes and told her it had to be spent today and it had to be for her... She was flustered !
Regarding the birthday though I just give her the bank card and tell her to get something nice..

I mentioned this to my gf for her bday, she liked the idea, but also wanted something from me to open on the day, maybe get her something small and then take her shopping?

TOTALLY agreed! I'm a girl and I would much prefer a proper day out together, you can go shopping any time.
On my last birthday he took me around London and he bought me a dress that I randomly spotted in a shop window whilst we were out. We went out for dinner and just had a really lovely long day together, it was very well thought out.

Get a box, cut a small hole in the bottom, insert penis through the box and let her open it, she will see it and then have fun.
It's a win win situation.

Guy i know did this for his girlfiend...
She woke up in the morning to find a note with 100 quid, saying "go out and buy yourself a nice dress"...
He also left her a message "be at * name of hairdressers * at 3 o clock
And left her a note at the hairdressers saying " meet me at * location * at 8.30pm....
And it was the location he was taking her for dinner.
So in other words, he paid for her to buy a dress, get her hair done and then meet him at a restaurant for dinner.
Was a pretty cool idea lol.

Tom, if you have only been together 2 months, don't give her the world yet mate, honest. Also, don't set a precedent where you need to keep chucking money at her to keep it going, don't burn out too early. The best things in life are free mate, but if you chuck a fair bit at her with honest good intentions, and you break up in 2 months time, you will regret it (did it with my ex, together 1 year and 2 months and I still regret giving her so much, it wasn't appreciated anyway I don't feel).
Nice day out with an overnight stay if you reckon she'd be comfortable, should do the trick.

Sounds like a good idea, i'm sure even if you do get bored and annoyed you keeping a smile on your face for the day would be the best present :)

Im the type of guy that like to spoil my girl, not too much so she thinks im stupid. Juts in a nice way. lol. She not the type to let me pay for everything and its a very evenly financed relationship lmao.
Her ex bf's have been jerks and didnt treat her atall according to the mum so i though i would do something special and treat her :D
Her bday is in October so its a fair bit away but i like to be prepared and organised.
I will look into going somewhere nice and an overnight stay closer to the date.

Got to ask .... If you've only been with her for two months why push the boat out ? You'll end up wasting your money.
That's my two cents

If you do it once she will expect it every birthday...
Why not make her a meal... Yes make it. Make her feel special for one day...
Showing someone how much you care (not going to use the L word) would prob mean more to her than clothes ... Could be a whole lot more cheaper aswell. If she would prefer the clothes to a day of pampering ... That's what I did for her first birthday together.
Ask any real woman in her would she prefer to feel loved and pampered on her birthday or clothes... The ones who choose clothes are prob under the age of 20 and very shallow

If you can cope being dragged around shop after shop for hours on end, whislt pretending your having fun...then it's a good idea!

I understand what you mean mate but really she not like that im not the type to buy her stuff all day every day. I like to spoil but im not stupid :)
Thats why i put it up on here to get some advice from some girls and see what they would like.
I would love not to have to ask her as she loves suprises.
i would have to disagree there mate about the shallow bit.
I think it will be a nice treat.
She never asks me for money or to buy her anything
