yes i have got a sub and sum 300w jbl 6x9's in a stealth shelf. that reminds me. 2 of my friends have the same jbl 6x9's as me, and theirs sound SO much better than mine. i cant understand why, apart from the fact that i have uprated front door speakers and they dont (but their only 125w) and it cant be my head unit coz mines more powerful than theirs. ive switched the wires around and everything. any suggestions?...

subs and 6x9s on a shelf are a no go

its not the sub at all becoz i have mounted a switch in my centre console which turns the sub on and off, so ive listened to my 6x9's without a sub even on, and they sound bad still

I had them vibe 6x9s ,running off a black box, they where alright. You would need them on an mdf shelf tho. They will still fit your plastic shelf but it vibrates likes a mother fucker.
I am running a sub now, imo its much better you can feel all the bass now smileys/smiley14.gif
