Or is it hard to buy a car that hasnt been fucked about with these days buy someone who hasnt a clue what they are doing or just bodge stuff badly! I would never sell a car in this state not even on ebay.....

my girlfriend bought a 1.1 5door 106 the other day on ebay (told her to wait for me but wouldnt listen!!!!!) look at the state of this....all the wiring on the engine is loose (not in clips) and the wiring for the alternator has been eaten at some point....

every wheels was like this or worse (had hubcaps so couldnt tell!)

various other problems like an intermitant missfire at any speed.....and felt very slow to drive gave the carb a good clean and few other bits and its alright now....

ive also swapped the bolts and put on my old hubcaps (as the ones she had were fake 3 spokes :o) oh and of course there is no locking nut key.....

mate my photobucket is filling up with pictures of peoples crap that ive had to put right....yh its not the worse but for a girl to come look on her own tbh i just couldnt do it to someone! the wheels were the worst bit i was shocked at how little the wheel was actually attached by!

Luckily I found my VTR in good condition and completely standard. Was a lucky find though :y: Saw a lot of cars with bad mods and generally in bad condition.

exactly what i thought and the answer is yes lol

gonna put a blue bonnet on and lower it back down just not had time.....plus ive got some morettes and other bits coming so will see what it looks like first ;)

there not hard jobs just frustrating ones that could take 10mins or 10days....
