vented discs

does anyone rate vented discs. i wanted to know do they make any difference to breaking power. is bigger discs and callipers better? :geek:

VTR/VTS use vented discs as standard. Best bet with a 1.1 is to fit vtr/s brakes, that is discs, calipers and pads. Will vastlly improve your stopping power and will be more than enough for the power produced by your car unless you do an engine swap or something. Cheap upgrade as well.

The vented part of it wont effect braking power at all, it just allows heat to dissipate much faster so they don't fade as fast.

No mate they are 247 mm on a vtr/s the fronts are vented no solid like a 1.1
