Right bit of a wierd one,
I have a punto (x reg) and tbh im fed up of all the problems that ive had with it so im after something else but its taking a long time to sell and i ideally want to get rid before any more trouble.
All the problems on it are fixed now and the mileage is 70k, ive priced Puntos up and they seem to be going for anywhere between £1400 - £1900 at garages.
Now ive found a garage near me with a car i fancy that is up for £1400.
Is there any chance you think they would SWAP the cars?
I know im asking alot but worth a shot asking maybe?

Garages have no reason to swap their car which they know any issues etc with an unknown car

Thats ideally what i'd like,
But untill youve owned a Punto you have no idea how bad things get quickly!!
Its been up for sale for a couple of weeks now.

Guess I'll just have to be patient.

they may part ex it yes but they may only give you say £700 for your car im not sure on puntos but it also depends on the garage most garage like to make atleast £500 on a car i would suppose but also depends how quickly they think they could get rid of it.
