Net problem...Any ideas???

Whapping this in the newbies forum, lol

My friends internet connection keeps dropping intermittently for no apparent reason, and the work around to getting it reconnected is turning off the windows firewall and then back on.

Any ideas what's going on?

Connection is through the wireless fob as ethernet cable won't work at all.

She's with O2 broadband.

I use O2 mobile broadband but I don't have the windows firewall on

what happens if you leave the firewall turned off?


edit: just checked and I do have windows firewall on - well I never :)

Could check how good the o2 signal is in the area

Get a good signal, problem has only recently started :S
