Hey people i know this is a really noob question but i am really curious ... What are coilovers? what are the difference between coilovers and lowering kits..
Is this set any good ....http://www.toys4cars.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7831_1426_2814_3670&products_id=59125
Do you think this set comes with 4 dampers or just two for the front ??
thanks people :D

coilovers allow you to adjust the ride height without changing springs (although you can change springs for even shorter ones and a different stiffness).
pretty poor kit tbh, and its very unclear on the dampers though :S

no theyre not. Theyre dangerous.. Youd be better off cutting your springs down.

Good kit that is mate, you can get it ALOT cheaper though, you can get the next one up the PSX which is adjustable for under £200 at the moment in places.
Spax stuff is meant to be a more harsh ride than the Apex equivilants though ;)

Look on the kamracing website at the Apex kit or the Spax VSX kit. Between them they offer 4 different lowering heights so pick whichever one you'd prefer
Both are good kits for the price and are under £250.
The Apex is better but you wont be disappointed by either
As they used to say on Blind Date- "The decision is yours"
