38 mins on the phone to do a job that took someone 4 mins to do...

Spoke to three people, first was a retard, didnt have a clue how to do her own job and she claimed she was a manager. So i asked to get put through to someone else so she put me through to someone lower down than herself :S

Second was abit better and i mean had some understanding then i asked to talk to a manager and she put me through to one...

Third woman, manager, obviously knew what she was talking about, very nice woman, sorted it out for me within 4 mins.

Now i mean i worked in one before so dont start saying that its hard work blah blah, i know it is, but fucking hell learn to do your jobs!

I get what you mean, I used to work in a call centre and it's not hard to learn what to do. Usually, in a role like this, you have to do the same thing day in, day out.

Yeah exactly, easy to do, i mean i know when you get a customer phoning up its not initially that they are annoyed at you... However when you cant do your job thats when i get pissed right off!

I love phoning Elephant come renewals time.......always crack me up how you speak to someone who knows like 10 English words yet they say their name is Peter....lmfao

lol who did you phone, im at work now I work in a call centre for virgin media tech support adsl

really depends on who you get through to & the aht they have to achieve etc

Hate call centres.

Also hate companies that ring the house saying "we can get you better deals on gas n shiz etc"

The reply is normally:

"Are you in a tall building? Go to the top floor and jump off" XD

Lol Sam where did you work? I used to work at good old Garlands for Virgin Mobile in Boro. Some right thicko's there like, who didn't know their arse from their elbow, let alone how to do their job! My manager used to pass most calls to me, or someone else decent and knew what they were talking about, cos they didn't have a fucking clue themselves (went straght in at TM level, didn't actually know the in's and outs of the customer service level)

I use to work at barclaycard pal! It was ok there because the majority knew what they were doing, but yeah even some of our managers were thick shits!

Alot of my team were decent at their job but you do get some mongs...
