i need new front pads but aprently there is two types off calipers i have a saxo vtr phase 2 2001 there is an ate caliper and another one which one do i have?

Take your old pads out
Then go down to your local motor factors with them
An get them to match them up

It'll be ATE. For some reason they still list the Bendix ones as VTR brakes even though they only came on really old-school 106's.
If your caliper looks like this (It should do)
