was in the middle of changiein my dash lights for blue ones today and i came acrss a problem...i couldn't get one bit of because of 2 screws behind the steering column..i can see them jist cant reach them. its the bit thats left when u take the top and bottom of of your steerin column and it comes out before the glass/plastic see throw panel.help?

You have to remove the steering wheel in order to get to the two screws,or you could file a half circle in order to get the torx screw in,tis a bitch.

need your steering wheel off mate i had the same problem
not hard though just need the right tools

what about the airbag ? does that not blow up in your face?

disconnect the battery, leave it for 10-15mins then unskrew the two air-bag bolts and lift it out... smileys/smiley2.gif

as above ... i left mine for a hour to be on the safe side
two torx bolts on the back of the wheel ... need to turn the wheel to get them out

one more thing...how many bulbs are there and are they the same as the sidelgiht bulbs or are they different? coz i know in a vectra they are the same bulbs as the sidelight ones

ok, had another go at it today and once i eventually got everything off i went down to the shop to get the bulbs and they dont sell em,turns out i need to order them from the net smileys/sad.gif aw well theres plenty more days to fuck about.
