I know im in the wrong section but this is the section that receives the most attention and i want to start the work asap. my vts is silver but i want the bump strips repainting in black and then laquered how do i get the trim off to paint or isit easy to paint on the car?

Just cover up the panels with newspaper or something if you are doing it yourself and spray on the car.
Bearing in mind it would be a lot easier if the bumpstrips were smoothed which im guessing they aren't

theyre the same trims and bup strips as others vts black and fading i want them gloss blak and shiny but dont want any paint on the body?

I'd get them done professionally i think a mate of mine got quoted £130.
If you do them yourself you'll probably want to sand them down first and then spray (covering up the areas of your car you don't want sprayed of course) Doing it with rattle cans will be a bitch though and i can imagine hairs, dust flies or anything like that landing on it before its dry especially if you do it outside. I learn't this from doing my wheels INDOORS lol
