I wasn't going to bother typing this up, But Id like the hear what everyone else thinks about this.
+ My opinion on Kick ass :y:
Quite a long story, but if you fancy a read...:)

What happened
So Last Night I was driving to my Local Cinema with 2 mates in the car, driving down a single carriageway (Quiet a busy one, not a backroad).
Travelling at 60mph I notice a moped in the distance in front of me, at this point is was impossible to tell how fast the moped was travelling at.
I soon catch the moped up and match itss speed...its traveling at 40MPH :wall:
Looking ahead I can see A line of traffic coming towards me on the other side of the road. So I indicate out, put my foot down and pull into the middle of the road. A nice looking Blue Fez ST follows behind me :y:
I pass the Moped and pull in (I cant honestly remember If I indicated back in)
Just As Im getting back into my lane, the other line of traffic passes me & guess who was the first car...A Police car.
Bare in mind that the ST has just doen the same as me & IS STILL in the middle of the road.
Checking my mirrors for the inevitable, The police car slams on his brakes, sirens turns on and does a 180 to chase me down.
The ST behind me turns off (Clever) and the Police car is soon behind me flashing me to pull over.

Ive Pulled :drink:

The best way for me to explain this is through dialogue:

Officer: Step out of the car please
*I step out*
Officer: So Can You explain why your driving like an Idiot?
Me: I thought I had enough space and time to overtake....(interupted)
Officer: So that's driving without due care and attention...take a seat in the back

So I take a seat inside his Ford Focus

Officer: Can I have your license please (while running my car details through the police radio)
Officer: Just under 2 years of a full license
Me: Will I lose my license?
Officer: Most likely

After everything checks out and telling me I've only owned the Car since March (Thanks for the reminder) he asks:

Officer: Your driving like a complete Idiot, how you have a license I do not know, how many times did it take to pass your test
Me: First time
Officer: How you managed that I do not know!

He continues to give me stories about holding some guys head together at the side of the road a few weeks ago because he was going too fast. Prompting me with "How would you like feeding your friends through tubes for the rest of there lives" & "How would you like seeing your friends in wheel chairs"
THEN
He reads me my rights! You know the whole "You do not need to mention anything..."
So Im thinking WTF :panic:

Officer: So would you like to explain to me again what you were doing?

I was damn suspicious at this point, I felt like he was trying to get me to incriminate myself. So I tried to get my phone to start a voice recording.

He then told me I was reckless, I must of been travelling at 70 - 80 mph :geek:
The Officer told me he was going to let me off this time, he told me to look up hazard Perception... & then

THE BEST BIT
Officer: So where are you heading off to tonight?
Me: Off into town with my mates to the Cinema
Officer: What are you going to see
Me: Kick Ass
Officer: (He smiled) That's What I did
Officer: *Lets me out* Enjoy the film

Of course I said thank you back to him :y:
Later me and my mates nicknamed him C*nt'stable Kick Ass :homme:

Additional Information:
( I'm not being cocky or trying to show off, so Im sorry if it sounds like it)

Now I admit, There is a good chance my car was hanging out as I pulled in, So being pulled over was fair play. After all Im still getting used to the size of the car.
However, I think the reason he went for me rather than the ST
Is because Im a 19 year old Driving a 10 plate

I think that may of swayed his decision on who to pull over.

First time I have ever had a run in with the Police & it was very negative. Very arrogant. Im thankful to be left with a warning, end of the day if it came to my word vs his. The Police would win.

Kick Ass

YOU must see this Film! Its nothing like I expected. Its a 15 rated film, But I think its borderline 18 :y:
The films soundtrack is awesome, fast and suits the film perfectly. The films pace rarely slowly down and when it does, its filled with Great jokes and one liners.
This is definitely the best film out at the moment. Id strongly advise you go and see it :)

Thanks for reading my Essay :y:

Good read mate :y:.

Yeah, I thought 'Kick Ass', shit name, not gonna bother. As you can judge movies by their covers/names right :D.

Anyway, I wiki-ed it a few weeks ago, and it's like a graphic novel, I loved watchmen, so I am sure I'll enjoy it.

coppers are all like that.. they think wearing a uniform makes them terminator or something..

one tried doing me for pulling out on a give way and there was like a 5 to 10 second gap even though an audi behind me actualy pulled out infront of him but no he came for me... said i was driving without due care attention.
i was like wth did you not see that big audi infront of you.. he said i saw you first.. couldnt believe it he let the audi go even though audi nearly caused a pile up just because my car is what he called a wannabe rally car

The thing is the police car did a full 180 turn on a road packed with cars doing 60mph

He was driving with less car and attention than I was lol :D

LOL to be honest i think they have pulled me in the past purely because its a Saxo driving fast.
As soon as they see how old i am (26) and how i talk to them (nicely) their attitude soon changes.

The last time i got pulled for speeding my car was stripped lol i told them i removed the rear seats as i needed space for my military kit as i had just got back from my NCO Cadre in Brecon.

LMAO and guess what i have no points!

Perks of the job ha ha

I guess If I was loud mouthed and talked back he would of found something to get me for. But I dont honestly think he had enough to charge me last night. But I'll be driving to the book for the next 2 months (That will get me 2 years on my licence)

Not a clue, I spose he would have seeing he was driving towards me (Then turned around)
He didn't mention any evidence or such.
I got away from it so Im happy with that :y:

your first run in with the police and you thought that was negitive, he was actually ok with you imo, the 'warning' is there to scare you into complying with the law, if he wanted to he could have done you for it. Be thankfull he wasnt one of the cuntsables!

kick ass is fookin mint, loved every second!

Yea I am very thankfully, I can imagine if I had another oddball officer. It would of been a different story.

& Kick Ass was brilliant!

yeah, feel a bit of a knob about it.

Yeah police are real t*ts when they pull saxo's...I've been pulled for:

Putting on my lights just before I pulled out of my (streetlit) street when it was just turning dark and didn't need them on anyway...

Driving my newly purchased vts on the way out of town in Leeds, when the car was still registered to Liverpool address- quote: 'just wondered why a merseyside car was up in Yorkshire?'

And the worst time was driving up a 2 lane bypass at 70, when this car was right up my arse and I'm thinking 'why don't you just f***ing go round me?!' so I rammed it through 3rd to make some space between us... And guess what... Undercover Audi a3 police car.
Though I explained I clearly wouldn't have been speeding if they hadn't have been driving dangerously close behind me...that event ended in the two coppers pushing behind and bump starting me which was hIlArIoUs!

Sounds like a rather twatty officer. At least he let you off. I've never been pulled before. Only been driving since November though.
