hi iam learning to drive at the minute and i want to drive my mums car with her in it, do i have to be insured on her car or do i come under her company as a learner? her insurance company wont insure me because im under 21, thanks :)

You need to be insured on her car.
Named driver on her policy is fine, licence type held will be provisional obviously.
If they won't allow it then there' not a lot you can do about it. :(

yeah you do have to be insured as a driver with a pervisional licence and tbh i wouldnt even risk driving it without insurance .. if you get pulled .. and you get a nastyy copper .. you will be waiting a few extra years to be driving your own car .. my mate made that mistake now is 21 and just about to take his test!
