Just wondering what the best way to insure a High Performance car at 18, 19 for just a week/month maybe.
For example; Porsche Boxster for 1 week?
Just interested that's all as a mate is insured on his dad's 3 series but that is through being able to drive any car on his insurance and hes 18, jammy fuck.

was quinn direct, good for young drivers and 3rd party insurance on other cars was standard, gone bust though but may start trading in the uk again, look out for them! :y:

lol, depending on what 3 series it is, it's not exactly a high performance car.
Best way to be insured on a decent performance car for a short period of time at 18/19 would be to pay an indecent amount of money. Unfortunately, i'm not trying to be a cock by saying that, that's about the only way really.
As said above an insurance policy that allows you to drive other cars would be a good idea, although if you're already mid-way through your policy it'd not really be an idea i'd consider until renewal time, and even then it's worth considering some policies have restrictions on engine size/power etc.

Driving other cars is ok, but you need to be careful as some insurers will stress you must be over a certain age to do so.
Because otherwise you could get a 17 year old just passed, driving his mum and dads Porsche or w.e

Was with Quinn for 3 years when I was 18, in that time I drove all manner of things, and was also covered to drive other cars abroad (uk registered cars though) but as said above you need to read the policy or give them a call to make sure!

Can only do the tempory insurance if over 21.
theres a reason why young people cant get insured on high powered cars cheaply.
Deal with it or get a better job.

Didn't mention not willing to pay a high amount of money, just wondered what was the best way.
Shame Quinn have gone down the pan..
