i've mannaged to wire most of the the alarm up im just stuck on a few things like:
1. where does the hazzard light wire go to?
at the back of the hazzard switch i found an orange wire that controls the passenger side indicators and a blue wire that controls the drivers side. if i connect the wire from my alarm to both of them it works for the alarm but when i try to indicate both sides come on.
2. i have a wire for the door release switch and another for the dome light, could i connect both of these to the interior light?

you need 2 diods mate so they dont back feed to the other wires.
What alarm is it mate?
Can you scan the fitting instructions?

thanks reevesy, i got myself some diodes and they work a treat!
i got everything set up apart from the remote start now, i had a look under the panel under the steering wheel and there seems to be some wires already cut and a 30a fuse under there which has melted.:wall:
could you please tell me what colour wires and where they are located so i can finish off the remote start function.
i also need to wire up the orange wire from the 6pin harness and the yellow wire from the 8pin harness.
here's the diagram in the manual, its got everything in writing aswell in more detail.

i cant make out the instructions very well cant you scan them? Its not just a caes of saying find the gray wire and the pink wire you need to test all the connections. first you will need to find the tach so the alarm knows when the engine is running.

i've found the tach wire by using the guide where you get it from the ecu, will this be ok as i havn't got a rev counter?

As long as your are 100% it is the tach wire then yes, how did you test it? What other connections are still left for the alarm.

i tested it using a voltmeter, when the engine is running it shows a current and when the engine is off it hasnt got a current.
still to do are:
the neutral safety or handbreak input,
break pedal input,
ignition input (yellow on 8pin harness),
the orange wire in the 6pin harness
and the red, purple, pink, pink/white and orange on the remote start.

the handbreak wire goes to the wire on the switch from the hand break,
the break pedal wire goes to the wire that comes from the break pedal that goes live when pushed,
the ignition wire goes to an ignition supply,

i have wired all the wires now how the instruction tell me to but when i try to start the car be remote, it flashes the indicaters to tell me its going to start but it doesnt do anything after that.
what could the problem be?
there are some wires inder the dash that are cut here are some pics:

as you can see the two brown wires have been cut, does anyone know what they are for?
they was connected together with this which has melted:
http://i983.photobucket.com/albums/ae313/k_singh91/DSC03506.jpg
on the other side of the brown wires after the plug, the wires are red and they come from the ignition barrel.
what should i do with these wires? connect them back up how i found them or connect them how it looks it should be?
they dont have a current at all...

it looks like they have been cut and put through the fuse, but that looks like it has melted. i think people do that when the heater blower, power steering and rear window demist stop working (somthing to do with a broken ignition barral). As for the alarm not starting i cant help as i have never fitted that alarm, have you checked that all the wires and correct and you are doing everything the instructio say to do?

ok cheers mate, i've disconnected them and everything seems to still be working, i'll have a good read through the instructions to see if i can get the remote start sorted.
nice one!
