Hi, today my insurance company (quinn funnily enough) rang me asking for my proof of no claims.

i sent them my last reneweal letter which apparently they never recieved. So instead i asked them to look on their computer and look up my insurance history. The woman on the phone found all of my policies since i started driving 2 years ago. Starting in february 2008 and finishing with my current policy.

Her information on screen also told her if i have any claims or convictions on my insurance history. So i asked her to add up the months i've been driving (claim free) and asked for the answer.
she replied "2 years and 2 months sir". Surely that's the proof that i've been driving 2 years without any claims. Hence 2 years no claim bonus!!

Apparently because i often swap my provider for cheaper ones this invalidated my no claims :( so i've been driving 2 years now and still have 0 NCB

Can anybody suggest a way to get past this? I have never crashed and never had any convictions yet i'm paying £1400 for a bloody 1.6!!!

you have to be with the same company to accuire your ncb bonus if not your fukt what may have seemed a good idea to keep changing to get a cheaper one has in the long run screwed you over !

Or ideally find a cheap provider and stick with them!

You can change at the end of a years policy and you will keep your no claims, but not mid policy
