I think you need to make a few more threads mate!
I would reccomend
sanding with 200
sanding with 800
3 coats of plastic primer
4 coats of gloss paint
3 coats of laqcer
patience is key

the front bumper will fit. but because its a flat arch the bumper will stick out each side where the vt arch should go. so would look a twat.
do some searcges before yu make a thread, threas was made bout this few days ago.
also if your sprayin with an aerosol spray in a warm place, put the can in a bowl of warm water for a min, makes a big difference. :y:

you can cable tie the sides in so they dont stick out and it wont look shite.
as for sprayin use 1200 wet & dry iirc
4 coats primer
4 coats of paint
4 coats of laquer
wet and dry between coats too :y:

Only problem with cable ties is the bumper will be under tension n a nasty speed hump could crack it or snap a cable tie! Then your bback to square one

painting prep will be down to if its is in good condition or not, if in good condition you could get away with just wet flatting it with around 600-800 grit wet and dry and depending on what colour it is and what colours going over the top you can just paint over the top of original paint
but if there are scrapes and marks then there will be more prep
