30ft seas drown man

giant 30ft high wave swept a aman to his death from the promenade on blackpools golden mile early yesterday

darren valpona, 26, disappeared in front of a friend as the two sat on steps eating a takeaway at 2.30am smileys/smiley5.gif

darren and the friend had stopped for a snack infront of the tower, his body was found 3 hours later washed up

yeah i heard about this yesterday. complete freak wave, amazing how it didn't take his two friends with it as well

thoughts obviously go to his friends & family
