If you want to see lost prophets at their best then go to the fesitval they hold each year in Wales.
They love playing to their home crowd and they get brilliant bands in for it.
I discovered so many good bands when I went and love gigs now, although I cant go to many now because of my leg.
I think their festival is called The Ponty Pridd fesitval.

gig is are amazing?
Anyway I've been to about 20 gigs and Leeds Festival. Tenacious D are the best band I've seen live for entertainment value, but Feeder are the best sounding band live. Rage Against the Machine had the best atmosphere.

Didn't think The Courteeners were great live when I saw them open for Stereophonics.

They lacked energy when I saw them really, were well outshined by the 'phonics.

I have been to leeds fest the past 2 years and going this year aswel, as i get a free ticket every year! ;)
Tbh the line up on friday looks like 2 years ago
But cant beat a bit of blink 182, pendulum, dizzy rascal, lost profits.
I think everyone should experience at least one festival in their life!

gigs can be good depends on who it is
one of the best gigs i saw was arctic monkeys in manchester before they even released a single and there were 300 people there if that and it was so intimate and so intense. same as when i saw pete doherty at a pub in shorditch with about 70 people in attendence. Ian brown gigs always amaze me though. having saisd that the arcade fire in a church was damn amazing.

agreed on shikari! seen them 5 times, ive seen lost prophets twice, theyre really good at live shows, my favourite band to watch is a band from aberdeen called flood of red. they play smaller venues and have toured with shikari.
BUT the epiphany of live shows....muse, hands down tbh

Seen Lostprophets twice, saw them in a smallish venue, and the MEN arena. Much better in a smaller venue.

Seen Oasis at Wembely, Oasis in Plymouth, Stereophonics at Wembely, Newton Faulkner in Plymouth, Starsailor in Bristol and Athlete in Plymouth.
All were amazing but Oasis at Wembely was unreal. Was about 2 metres from the stage.
