steering vibrating at 60mph really annoying just went over to bathwick and had the tyres balanced and its still doing it on the way home what else could be causing this???

not balanced correctly, i had my tyres do and it still does it, the place i went was rubbish, you want to go back and tell them and they should do it again for free, did you get all 4 tyres balanced?

it must be the balancing, surely?
for it to only occur at that speed or more?

worn uv joint on steering column?
normally only when going up or down inclines

Might be something to do with your CV joints, my golf did this even after I got the wheels balanced, pull the boots back and have a look at them, re-grease them and see if its doing it again...if it is then get the balancing done again..for free!!!

£10? that sounds cheap for 4 tyres,think it will be wheel balancing

that happened to me. I put new tyres on and it was reduced.
