I know i need a 23mm master cylinder but im just not sure what car to get it off ??
Am i right in saying the 406 23mm one fits ?? But what model do i get it off or are they all the same ? Does it matter if it has abs etc ??
Cheers.

does your vtr have abs? I presume NO
Then will you need a master cylinder that is from an ABS car - NO

Lol opps
If its a vtr you need a 4-port
Unless your going for fully braided brake lines, the you can use a 2-port
Any and all 406 without ABS.
All 4 port MC's from a 406 are 23mm.
a bigger mc is only needed if you want to TRY and maintain the same pedal distance.
say for example you have a 1.5X bigger piston area on the brembo you will have to press the pedal 1.5X as far but you will be getting 1.5X the braking force.
it all tends to work out without a need to change it.

i think im going to change it anyway. Im getting braided hoses off swampy on here. So will they require the 2 port ?? Or is that only for fully bradied lines if i read that correctly ?? in which case 4 port is needed off a 406.
Thanks guys.

you'll need the braided hoses to join the calipers to the 'hard' lines on the car.
You'll need a 4 port 406 master cylinder unless you have abs (I dont think you would do)
