Is this the ball joint i need for my drivers side??

If it's your track rod end that's fucked yerh.

If it's your lower balljoint. Then no.

That's what's commonly referred to as a balljoint. And causing a cracking/knocking noise when they go. They need to be pressed in and out. It's usually easier to buy a new lower arm complete.

Unless of course you have somebody who can press it in and out for you.

You'll save yourself alot of hassle if you just buy a complete lower arm.
