Dye roof lining / Carpet?

Anyone think its possible to dye the roof lining or grey carpet.

Im guessing the carpet wouldnt dye too well as its already a pretty dark color.

Dont think anyones an expert on this but hey its worth a try lol

my mate done it with just black spray paint came out pretty decent

someone on here did their roof lining with fabric pens, you iron it to seal it

What colour do you want to dye it? I was thinking about getting a standard one and dying it red as my rallye carpet is faded a bit.

Id say just lightly spray with quite a few coats to get the coverage but you will avoid drips.
