I'v looked on a couple of sites, and it's not really that clear, some say they have to be reflective etc, but i can't imagine pressed plates to be very reflective.
Whats the law on them?

dubmeister and a few other places do legal ones, if they have some marking thing and postcode of where they were made at bottom of plate then they are legal

I think so long as the font/spacing is correct and they're reflective they're fine. Much more sense to have metal plates which can't crack/split etc. Other country's have them. why not the uk?

Lol. I've made a few vinyl plates for some guys before. I warned them before that they were illegal. They were pulled a few weeks later :P
