just get a full 1.4 8v exhaust and put an aftermarket back box (a good one not universal)

i wouldnt do that, iirc the 1.4 have a center silencer, when the 1.1 doesnt if you put a center silencer in it will slow it down because of the added back pressure, please correct me if im wrong

I meant with no silencer or back box, just buy an exhaust off a 1.4 and make your own you would de cat too. I did it with a 306 just using pug 309 pipes and that worked fine.
your looking for a backbox, same questions are asked every week just worded different. look at sportex, kam racing box, so many its unreal for saxos any box designed for a saxo should fit your car.

hmm, what are the difference between universal and sportex/cam racing etc.. back boxes?... just wanted to know...
is it the material? the way it's put together? the layers?.. hmm just curious

im guessing the quality of the welds/build quality also universal exhausts are obviously gonna be a bitch to fit because anything universal 'will be made to fit nothing properly'
