Windows 7 x64/x32 Retail Edition

I have recently installed 7 x64 on my desktop machine.

Stupid question really, but here goes.

If i want to install x32 on a different machine that is mine, can I? I have x64 on my desktop as said but want x32 on my laptop.

Any help?

Retail boxes are for licensed for 1 PC only. You won't be able to install it on both at the same time and have them both fully functioning.

If you meant can you install x86 (it's not x32) from an x64 disc the answer is yes.

Cheers Penn, was thinking that may be the case, even though I will only be using one at a time, not both together.

And was meaning x86, pushed Xthen thought of 32-bit instead of the 86!

Oh well, looks like the laptop will be stuck with Vista Home Premium :(
