Well Bank holiday Monday, there I am working away on my motorbike panels when I hear a loud bang. Some guy in a van had come straight on the kerb and rear ended the girlfriends grandads car which then ploughed the neighbours into the hedge. The guy was pretty shook up but think he was ok. Bit of t cut and a polish should sort them out you think?;)

Ouch, on an 09 plate. This will definitely be a lesson for the driver. Glad to hear no one is seriously hurt.

My friend uses her phone while driving, I tell her not to but she doesn't listen. When using your phone your eyes and concentration are not on the road, and things like this can happen. I hope the van guy learned his lesson, should show my friend this thread tbh.

The new fiesta was my other halfs grandads, the old one was out neighbours.

Yer the police reckon he musta been half canned to of did what he did, but I think he was on his phone. I was the 1st out there within about 10 seconds of the crash and he was out of it with his phone in his hand so reckon he was textin or somethin. either that, pissed or fell asleep. Our lane is on the SLIGHT bend, so if he was texting and took his eye off the road for a slight second(and speeding) then that would easily of happened.

yikes, was a new fiesta aswell!! hope the driver realises what hes done, could have easily hit a person rather than the car.

If he was on his phone then its good to see someone ( hopefully ) learning a lesson....

What annoys me though is that could have been a child on the pavement. What then ?

Fiesta is fooked... Shame cause it looks nearly spanking new.

Theres always families on bike rides up and down the lane, and only the day before I had my aunties car jacked up in the exact same spot and working underneath it. Scary stuff!
