angel eyes wid hid's (idea)

i want a 6000k hid kit and was thinking about buying 3:A: 1 for main beam ( worth havin one in the main beam??) 1 for dipped and fog lights... what do you think??? also will i have space for the boxes?

not all hid kit melt... aslong as there uv protected they dont get any hotter then normal bulbs

nah this is a common misconception, as already pointed out its not the heat that melts the angels its the uv, and as said get uv protected ones and your fine, nowadays hids are getting really cheap compared to how they used to be, the majority of them will be uv protected now

would save yourself a fair whack of money and not bother with them for fogs or main beams. I've always found main beams on angels to be pretty good and putting hids in your fogs is just pointless imo

I have xenons in my standard headlights and they seem much better, the white light also seems to bring out more detail in the road ahead.

I can swear by them they have saved my me when i was driving down a country road at night and a baby deer ran out in front of me and i only noticed it due to the better light. Also when driving in front of me people have said how intense the light appears.

Is it worth having a pair for fogs? What other alternatives is their to do with your fog lights?

well my fogs keep blowing out might as well change them didn't cost a lot paid 85 for 2 pairs of hid's... plus doin more for looks... just trying to do something different.. my saxo's not fast or loud its a 1.5d lol might as well make it look nicer =)

I've been thinking about doing this and also connect ting the fog up to the full beams aswell so that I can turn the fogs on or off when needs b but also automatically come on when I flick full beams on. What do u guys recon idea or what

Not worth having one for the main beam as it takes too long to warm up so you cannot use the flash and HID dipped beams will be more than sufficient in lighting. Unless its for looks then go for all HID.

i dont get it? why do my hids have dipped and main beam together and everyones talking about getting 2 sets, one for full and one for dipped?

because they have angels mate 3 lamps in the headlight indicator/low beam/high beam
