Hi guys, I understand the way to go when de-badging is a full boot re-spray, but I was just interested if this would work or if any one has tried it.

Instead of having to respray the whole boot after de-badging, could you fill the holes, spray a small area around the holes, lacquer then blend in with rubbing compound? Or would this look crap and totally obvious?

dont do it yourself but the second option is what i had done from a bodyshop and you couldn't tell. But now iv got mine totally smoothed.

after a year the paint started to flake a tiny bit though but i think it was just a poor bodyshop job. heres it now.
