The old Cosworth Engines used to rev to 20k, they were only found in Formula 1 cars thats all!
Hmmm, whered you hear that? I cant imagine it being true, wouldnt last very long.

Did you know they removed the word Gullible from the dictionary :panic:
If the people that started cosworth had their names the other way round the company would have been called ducktin!

It's utter bollocks.
The forces at 20,000 RPM are frankly amazing. Cosworth did actually plan on running a 20k rev limit for the entire Brazilian Grand Prix in 2006, however both the Williams running them crashed out. For much of that season 19k was the top bracket and even then used sparingly, since the limit has been enforced at 19k for 2007/8 and 18k for the last two years to keep costs down.
In short, there's fuck all chance of getting close to £20k in any sort of road car

Not strictly true, the Megabusa and Megablade have rev limits approaching 13k, so its not a million miles away.

Seen Hondas revving to 11k on street used setups, and that takes some doing so 20k is not really gonna happen.
Cosworth are making engines again, not sure which ones. Read it in classic car weekly though. My dad gets it :D.
the only cosworth I know about is the Subaru Impreza CS400 ;)

Not sure, but I know Cosworth are now collaborating with subaru to produce the mentioned STi CS400 in limited numbers, plus Cosworth are now supplying some awesome Scooby aftermarket tuning parts..
Good times.

Indeed. 75 of them. First 10 are black. Then a choice of Silver, Gunmetal or Silver.
Then I think there might be an option for the wheels.
and it's £50k
I can't wait for my mate to get his ;)
