guessing its the back speakers your on about! Would be a bugger trying
to work out how to do them, fortunately someone told me and guessed
the rest!
im taking it your fitting them in the front though yeh? if your wiring to HU its just a straight swap, aslong as you bought 13cm speakers....
aahhh 1 side done allread smileys/smiley2.gif dint read that far smileys/smiley17.gif

yep front comps not as easy as a straight swap though i had to take the doorcard off to drill a hole higher up to accomodate the tweeter

6 hours and they are not done, must be a record smileys/smiley17.gif
are you using the speaker wire that came with them to connect to your head unit or are you chopping the existing wire?

well i'm having to chop and connect both wires, it was the tweeter what caused me the problems! I know it is nearing a record i reckon smileys/smiley17.gif
i've never done front speakers before only used to fitting 6x9's but due to 99.9% of peeps on here saying comps are better i thought i'd give them a whirl now just need my amp and sub which should be coming mid may smileys/smiley2.gif

yeah defo the head unit just dont pump enough power through it. they sound good (well it does so no doubt both will) but think they really do need to be run through a seperate amp. how many amps is safe to run for a saXO? smileys/smiley5.gif

lol i went and bought a holesaw from b & Q only to find it wouldn't fit on my drill!!! so i had to do it by hand! I really should have sanded the edges of the hole for the tweeter you can see bits of plastic if you look carefully. Anyways working til two then doing the other side hopefully it wont take as long lol smileys/smiley17.gif
