View Full Version : Service from local Ford garage!
Took the fiesta in to Ford (Stoneacre) yesterday for them to sort out an idle problem.
Was called this morning to say I could pick it up as they didnt find the fault.
When I saw the car, I noticed it had been "cleaned"
Now... I say "cleaned" because It was BETTER than it was before. The state before was VERY dirty. not been washed for months, and someone had written "I am a cunt" in the bonnet. This was no longer visible.
The wheels were slightly cleaner. Oh yeh, and they had parked it right by a building site, so it was instantly dusty, and under a tree, which had dropped leaves and crap all over it.
Useless wankers. When I mentioned the poor job, the lady on the desk offered to take it in to wash again. I just laughed and said I would do it myself.. and asked her to tell the people that wash the cars to use common sense..

Tell them not to was ht he car next time, service it and thats it, but even then they will still wash it
oh aye. If I had known they were going to do it I would have told them to stay the fuck away from it!
Unfortunately they seem to think theyre doing me a favour by scratching my paint...
My mate has a Fiesta ST and he always in Ford dealerships and they always wash it for him.
They must wash the car with fairy liquid or something funky because it's never a good finish.

Hi mate you will find theres a update for the ecu that will sort the rough idle, dunno y they told u there was no fault! I worked at Ford and everytime a fiesta came in with that fault plugged it into the Diagnostics and updated the ecu and problem sorted (Y)
is that for the mk7 ZS?
Any idea what the update is called?
