came out of football tonight parked next to some double yellows but not on them so no one could park behind me got in car let my mates in and stuff then had to reverse to get out. reversed back and some women had parked on double yellows and i went into front of her at 1mph. got out not a touch on her car or mine but she wanted my details which i duly give her. i then took loads of pictures of front of her car and mine of the no damage there and have 8 witnessess some of which arent my friends seen there was no damage to either car.
so guys you think my no claims are f*cked or do i have a case agaisnt her because of double yellows and stuff
cheers dobba

think its 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other mate her blame for bein on double yellows and urs for not checkin behind u, u might even come off worse if police get involved sounds like drive without due care and attention, could have been a kid crossing behind u. sorry to make it sound bad

i wouldnt worry to much if there wasnt any damage she probably just being taking them incase there was something you couldnt see, i would always take details even without visable damage at the end of teh day you never know whats underneath without looking in detail
as for blame while her parking on double yellows is bad (although very common aroudn my way see it constantly) you should still check your mirrors tbh

the fact that she was on double yellow lines has no bearing on you driving wihtout due care an attention
what if there was a person stood there and because you were too lazy to clear your windows you hit them
hopefully for you she will sleep on it and see sense

but thats like saying everytime some one has a crash or whatever its due to that officially. but sometimes its just a lapse in concentration its saying like a drive like that constanly without due care and attention

You should watch out out folk have a habit of going to a garage and asking them to make up a fake quote to fix it then said person comes knocking at your door asking £500 to get all the damage fixed.

This bloke is talking sense.
The fact she was parked illegally doesn't mean anything.
She could have been in an emergency situation. i.e broken down.
you drove in to her so, yes. you're fault.
By the sounds of things she wants to get as much out of it as possible too...
Sorry fella.
Reminds me of a great moment from Snatch when Tyrone reverses into Jonny four-fingers' van.
"I didn't see it there!"
"It's a four ton truck, Tyrone. Its not as if it's a bag of fucking peanuts, is it?"
"It was at a funny angle!"
"It's behind you Tyrone. Whenever you reverse, things come from behind you."
But as said, if she wants reports it through insurance for whatever reason, you'll have to declare a 'Fault' incident on your record for the next 5 years. Which means goodbye no claims unfortunately.
