Need to get something instead of using a sponge thought this was a good idea opinions ? I want to reduce swirl marks and scratches to paintwork.

That's a good mit, you won't reduce the swirls on your paint work, but you will reduce the risk of adding more swirls, if you wash it using the 2 Bucket method, with a good shampoo :)

I have this mitt; its much better than a sponge.
anyone know the cheapest place to get it. Can't find it in stock atm.

I prefer the wookies fist IMO. But these are good for the lower half of the car

IMO using a soft car brush is the best method. Grit accumulates at the bottom of the bristles so dont touh your car. If u have any large water tanks they quite good to cath rain water. When it dries it doesnt smear

Lambs wool mitt+ Two bucket method with grit gaurds+ a decent shampoo and its all good :y:

No. It doesnt. If wash ur car with tap water it leaves smears on windows... Or at least i thought it did...
And maybe brush isnt best but i find it easier.

i would think about buying one of theses if you dont want to scratch your saxo anymore.. but its not just down to what you use, you have to take into account. are you using one bucket?? if so means you putting the dirt back onto you car which will result in scratching, etc...
but for a good start try one of theses
