I recently bought a VTR with an aftermarket sound system. The playback and sound on it was fine (minus few times it skiped when going over a bump) until about a week ago. Now it's like the disc constantly skips, but it's more like a break in connection, because even when I change it to radio the same thing happens. Sometimes it's worse than other times, and it seems like accelerating or de-accelerating when driving effects this. I've tried taken out the head piece to see if there's any lose connections or if any of the wires wasn't attached to the set securely but everything seemed fine and I couldn't spot any breaks in the wires. I also tried changing the head pieces since I have a spare 1 but it didn't make a difference. Does any1 have some advice plz?

No, the only warning light thats on is the Airbag light, but that's been that way since I bought the car.

I checked to see if the battery light flickers or comes on when I drive but it doesn't. Any other advice?

If you have a multi meter connect it + to pin 7A and the - to pin A8 and see if the voltage spikes (drops and rises) if there is no fault here try the same test but connect - from multimeter to common ground like any bare metal of car. if there is no fault here they putting + from multi meter to pin 7A and - to pin 4A and repeat test if there is no fault then the problem is more than likely to do with a dry joint on the cercit board of you sterio and thats harder to fix. if you find that there is a fault from pin 7A and 8A then its most likely a bad ground and can be fixed by picking up a ground from your cigarette lighter. hope this helps ya
here is diagram ignore + and - to LED i did that to do a guide on wireing up led

Thank you for the help. Will go and try it and hopefully that way I can determine where there's a bad wire or lose connection or maybe a bad ground.
