hi guys. Great forum top class :y:
well just got a Saxo 2002 though its a 51 plate VTR 8v in mint condition with 51,000 miles on it with full citroen service ect ect. some pics below.
I hate to dissapoint you guys or offend anyone but my plans for the VTR are going to be a bit boring, Im keeping it all stock with no mods at all. as in time unmolested VTR's are going to be sought after and go up in value. what do you guys think. please dont say well just tint back lights or change grill as im keeping it stock lol. any ways here are some pics and nice to join your forum.. when there are meets would a standard VTR hold its head in shame or is there a section just for the standard saxos?

Standard VTR's are getting rare lol most have been molested to the state its hard or not worth spending the money to have them mint original. I love the snow plows bumpers ppl put on there saxos lol total class. then there is the poor mans mod the grill. ive seen 4 saxos today and all bar mine had the fins taken out and chicken wire for a grill. I dont get it. i get modding but some of the things you have to say chough chough GAY lol.

Welcome to the forum mate. I'm sure a standard car would still be able to turn heads at meets. Most do and some of them (mine included) are in a bit of a state! lol

Theres a whole section on here for the "detailing" crowd, a lot have modded cars but some are standard, they just spend all there time polishing and waxing the cars until you can see your face in the paintwork.

To be honest, the majority of people on here don't go for bodykits any more, the trend has turned to stripped out track warrior looking machines and subtle modifications. There's a really mixed bag on here.

Welcome again to Sax-P and welcome to the north west section of the forum too... You should get yourself signed up and introduced over there too as there's always local events and banter in the regional sections.

Good luck with the car, it looks like a really good example. Hopefully we'll see each other at a meet soon.

Cheers, Alan.

Lol, no worries mate, theres a fair bit of banter on here so you'll fit right in. Theres a meet at Demon Tweeks soon, the details are up in the north west section. It'd be good to get over to that one and meet the rest of the NW lot. especially if you fancy coming to the french car show soon after it. again, loads of info on that event too.

Main bit of advice i'll give you is: Use the search button. Loads of people get the piss taken because they just ask the same repetitive questions that can be found really easily.
