Some info needed!!

Right i have a 02 vts in black and lets say the previous owners didnt relly look after the paintwork! I have am hoping to get it machine polished as soon as i need to stop replacing parts lol! At the moment i pre- wash with a pressure washer, then wash with ag shampoo and conditioner 2bm, then dry using a microfibre towel, polish using ag srp, then wax with megs ntx2. I am quite new to all this complicated detailing stuff and am wanting to get some decent dodo products, ( like red mist, purple haze ect) what would you people in the know recommend and how often should i be waxing, polishing ect? Sorry for all the questions! Thanx.

Polish twice a year, personally, I wax every wash; which is usually twice week. Probably overkill, but whatever. Have you clay barred the car before? Makes a world of difference...

You're just wasting wax Woody, any more than 2 coats is pointless as you're just smeering more wax about rather than having it bond.

What I thought, but I don't like just washing the car, drying it, then leaving it.

Once it's dry just give it a spray with a good QD or a 20:1 mix of C2 like I do :y:
