Cat shaking??

i'm from ireland and i hav a 98 vtr saxo jus wondering when i rev the car its sounds like my whole exhaust is shaking or when i'm drving and slowing down from say 60 kmh theres like a grinding noise just wondering is this the cat and if so would i need a whole new exhaust system or jus the cat ? do you need a vtr cat or would a 1.1 fit?

you need a vtr cat ,and you can just change the cat not the complete system mate. Possibly the inside of the cat has collapsed ,this happened to my mate on his 306 . Exhaust could have come off the hanger though and this is what your hearing ,have a wee look.
