The new Modern Warfare 2 map pack, Resurgence, has been detailed in an interview with Major Nelson.

Infinity Ward’s Rob Bowling confirmed that the two old maps from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to return will be Vacant and Strike. The three new maps confirmed for the DLC are known as Trailer Park, Carnival and Fuel.

Trailer Park is seen as a “super condensed” map, cutting through abandoned trailers and is pretty much “a maze”, according to Bowling. Carnival is a daytime map and a “decimated amusement park”, full of rides you’d tend to expect there like fun houses and rollercoasters.

The final map is called Fuel, which is a “sniper haven”, full of wide open space in an oil refinery and is “completely unique” from other maps in the Resurgence pack.

Bowling didn’t state a price for the pack in the interview with Nelson (http://majornelson.com/archive/2010/05/13/an-interview-with-robert-bowling-on-the-mw-2-resurgence-package.aspx?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed &utm_campaign=Feed%3A+MajorNelson+%28Major+Nelson+ %28Xbox%29%29&utm_content=Google+Reader), but expect it to be $15 (1200 MS points) like the Stimulus Package.

Resurgence was http://www.vg247.com/2010/05/13/modern-warfare-2-resurgence-pack-hitting-xbl-june-3/ announced yesterday for a June 3 release on Xbox Live first.

That's another amount of cash out of my pocket I guess..,

Another rip off imo, it'll be the same price as the other one meaning £22 for 6 new maps and 4 old ones (total over the 2 map packs). A joke when you think how much you got with the game in the first place.

im sure the die-hard mw2 fan-boys will get this but seriously... infinity ward sort it out!?? just give us NEW maps stop trying to package the deal nicely with added old maps - makes no sense and on a personal perspective if i wanted to play old maps, id insert my cod4 disk - WTF!!!??? Tho 'IF' have failed with MW2 ever since they released it with all the multiplayer problems they had and even the game campaign isnt long enough - plus no great maps for online play or none that really i look forward to playing when online... tho find highrise as my nuke haven map. it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know releasing stimulus + resurgence as a individual DLC pack would make more sense - and potentially more money - but hey... the fan boys will subsidize this one.

Thats why you split the cost between 5 of you and then it works out to £2.20 roughly.

Lol at splitting the cost, "Er, do you have my £2.20?" :D

I know what you mean though, I just hope that loop hole isn't closed by the time the next one comes out *touch wood*.

Lol I know its petty if you do it that way, 3 of us chipped in and I bought them, another one will buy the next pack and i'll download it off them and the other guy just bought me breakfast one morning lol.

It's not a loophole, it must be for if your PS3 breaks and you need a new one, or you have two in different rooms or whatever, so you don't need to keep buying stuff you already bought.

That maybe the intended use of multi downloads but the other way people use it is a loop hole. It's pretty much the definition of a loop hole!

Like I said I hope it's not closed and they limit it to an IP address or something similar.
