There's a rumbling noise coming from the rear wheel area of my car when turning corners (if you say say 'duddle duddle duddle duddle duddle duddle duddle' fast then that's what it sounds like). Has anyone had this problem with theirs?

I am unsure on how fast i should say duddle?

jack it up and check for any play

If its from the back it will need a wheel bearing.

Check trailing arms for play.

Well that depends on how fast i'm going. You'll need to join all the duddles up so there's no gaps in between. Try getting your tongue moving as fast as you can on it.

On a more serious note, where is this trailing arm thing and what does it do?

The noise gets faster (more duddle duddle per mile) the faster i go around the corners.

Anyone had this and found the cause?
