HELLO there my saxo 1.1 is buggered it will start when cold and run for 2 mins then stalls wont start up for 30 mins after . ive had problems with it for a while its been on a dignostic test and it read up crank shaft sensor and missfireing . so i got it a new coil pac and a crankshaft sensor . still didnt work put it in a garage to be fixed so far hes put this on it ....
new plugs, second hand injectors, drained the tank and fuel hoses, new air and fuel filter, petrol pressure reggulator . and he run me battary dead then it wouldnt hold charge so a new one of them too . im takeing the car out of the garage tomarrow so wondered if any one knew any thing or herd of simula problems thanks please help

Hmm strange, Id say possibly try a ecu, get one from a scrapyard there easy to fit, Undo the two 10mm bolts and remove the plug, reverse to re fit.

if you get another ecu, it will have to be unlocked, have to find a place that will do it, cost about £80 to unlock

so it will only start when the engine is cold? something to do with overheating then? do any warning lights come on at all?

if you get an ecu theres a lad on here who unlocks them pretty cheap if iirc.

After the 30 mins does it startfine and run? or will it only ever start and run for 2 mins? whats it like when it is running? lumpy or fine? is there any other codes being put up? when you say wont start does it just crank? if so is it cranking over correctly?

cranking over correctly brought a secondhand ecu today with fob and a black box thing that come with it . i fitted it and it still doing same as be for it firered up then as soon as i come off the gas it stalled and wouldnt run for a while after . it sounds apsalty normal turning over got good compresion fuel is getting up too the injectors i changed the presure fuel regulator it had a 3.5 bar one on it now it has a 350 kpa one do you think this is right or not

since i changed the ecu the engine mangement light has gone off
