HI EVERYONE!
I want to share with information about my saxo problems.
I have saxo 1.5d Y(2001).
After car was in service for gearbox issues, i have found this problems:

1. first issue was a slow starter moving, continius eco unit sound and on dashboard was 3 things lightening - cables, the starter-engine and the ignition key. After some time arrows was dancing on dashboard.
So this info direct in wrong directions.

I recharge the battery and because it was december, i thought it is the bad battery. Car was starting again, but every morning was a simular problems.
after 1 month the car was dead completely.
So i bought new battery for it, i have bought proper charger, dunno, same problems.

Breakdown was called 4 times, 2 times it was in Apt motors (leeds) specialised on citroens. 2 times wires was burnt and they was changed, but after 3 days - same story - not starting, slow starter movents, arrows dancing.
on 5th time when called the breakdown, the man who come that time, told me it is earthing problem!!
How he found it: the was strating only if you put earth jumper on engine(body).
So, i have bought jumper cables and put them on the body and connect on battery - car startin very well, and problem at all.
Now i thinking to put permanent cable from battery to starter(cause it only do the starter runs) or to go service and to try found out where is a earthing issue.
What do you think about it?

It wont be the ECU making the noise that you mentioned but the relay underneath the ECU. If that is making a noise then it does indicate an Earthing problem..

Theres only 3/4 earths in the engine bay so just check them, clean then etc.

2 on the Gearbox
1 behind the battery
1 in front of the battery to the right
