Hi,

Im needing some help with my ICE ive got ready for when I get a car, should be within 1/2weeks time :)

I have pretty much all of the ICE ready bought already, minus door speakers because im awaiting to see what car I get to get the correct sizes.

Anyway, im wanting to know:

1. How would I go about cutting into the parcel shelf to install the 6x9's2. When the 6x9's are in place would I just splice into the rear speaker wires for them? I will also have the sub slices into one too for the signal as my headunit doesn't have RCA input on the back. Or would the 6x9's need a separate amp as the wire wouldn't be enough power?

2. Is a capacitor worth buying for the sub? Was looking at some FLI ones for £45 but I can't really see how much difference it would make.

3. What sound deadening do people recommend me to get, and where are the main places to cover it up?

Thanks :)

no 6x9's and no power cap they are ***t!
spend the £45 on a new head unit with at least 1 pre out!
you should be able to pick up one 2nd hand for around that price!

dont get 6x9s as they are only good for one thing and that is to be use as door stops or paper weights their sh*t ....power caps are just a waste off money and dont do any thing with the £45 you would spent on it spend on some sound deadening for the doors and boot like B-Quiet or Dynamat
...front just upgrade your speakers to 5.25cm speakers or if you want bigger speakers just make some door pods
